Our goal is simple: to provide a place where anybody can discuss magazines, stories, and regularly published writing. We know that there are subscibers to magazines who don't have people they can immediately turn towards to discuss the issues they are passionate about, so we created the Beta version of this app to have a place to do so.
Commons are the shared resources that every member of society should have access to. Little by little, we are making knowledge one of these resources by providing platforms where communities can come together to engage in dialog. Our hope is that this app serves as this sort of meeting place, where we can all give our opinions and learn from each other.
Discussion are moderated. We want a welcoming community free from discrimination: we do not tolerate racism, sexism, classism, or any other form of ignorance that targets groups large or small. We will remove any and all of these comments/links.
That being said, we want a critical community ready to voice their opinions. Critique and discussion will make our world a better place, especially when it is most difficult to hear. If you are unsure of whether to post it, do so; opinions that differ from the norm are critical for discussion. We want to hear everybody's voice!
