  • I was at first disappointed with the "salesman" aspect of this article, then i realized it's actually a really important part of government. You can do all the good you want to, but if the opposing parties, your own party, the media, and the public misinterpret or thinking differently about what you have done, it can remove any support you might have had to continue making change.

    An economic growth rate of 6.5% is a high estimate, and although I don't think it will be anything like the roaring twenties like some people predict, gradual growth is really powerful for improving society. I also am wary of inflation, but more wary of austerity. Let's just hope this doesn't go too far to the opposite end of the spectrum. I also think it's important to note that this plan included huge changes not just for growth, but for fighting poverty in America detailed in another discussion here:
