Sometimes i find it difficult to say anything at all about stories like this: it was short, to the point, well-written, and a decently interesting story. It has nothing that really stands out to me, but slides nicely into the magazine. I certainly won't search for more of Thammavongsa's writing based on this, but it was a good read.
